Access Log Manager
What's the objective of the Access Log Manager? What type of information will it give you?
An access log is a text file containing an extensive report on all of the files accessed by your website visitors. All the files which were requested in one way or another will be included, so if you have a PHP script application and a website visitor opens only the home page, for instance, you may find many files inside the log. It is because there are resources on the home page which are embedded - parts of other Internet pages, graphics, and so on. All these files will be listed in the access log, so you're able to get a complete picture of the way your site performs. The information is in plain text format, so the logs are occasionally called "raw data" as well. An access log shows the name of each requested file, the path to it, the date it was accessed, in addition to the user’s IP address, web browser and OS. Additional information, like the referrer site, is sometimes supplied too. A log file could be processed by various desktop applications for statistical purposes as an addition to the web stats generated by your website hosting server.

Access Log Manager in Cloud Website Hosting
If you acquire a
cloud website hosting from us, you'll be able to choose if access logs should be produced and for which domains or subdomains in your account this must be done. You can activate this option from the Access/Error Logs section of the Hepsia Control Panel, integrated with all shared accounts. Each and every
domain you host or subdomain you create will be listed there and you'll see an On/Off option next to every one of them, so you can quickly activate or disable the generation of access logs separately for every site that you have. You could save a log to your PC by clicking on the Download link that you shall see in the very same section of the CP. The link will be available even after you disable the log generation, so you'll still have access to the data compiled by our system.
