E-mail Forwarding
Find out about e-mail forwarding, the way it operates and in which circumstances it is beneficial to have it enabled.
The term e-mail forwarding describes an email message being forwarded from a receiving address towards a third-party address that is not mentioned as a receiver. For example, a customer sends an email from their personal mailbox to support@domain.com and as far as they're involved, it is the only receiver. If there's an active forwarding, the email could be sent to owner@domain.com, for example, although the customer never intended the e-mail to be sent there and may not be aware of the existence of this mail box. There are different reasons for working with such forwarding. For example, if you've many e-mail addresses it is possible to forward each of them to a sole email address, which can make monitoring e-mails less difficult and allows you to get emails and respond on time. The function could also be used if a number of individuals should receive a copy of an e-mail message delivered to a general mailbox.

E-mail Forwarding in Cloud Website Hosting
The Hepsia Control Panel, which comes with all of the
cloud website hosting packages, will help you forward any email address inside the account to a different one easily. You can do this either throughout the creation of a new mailbox or any time afterwards if you choose that you'll need this feature. During the process, you are able to decide if you want a copy of the messages to be kept on the server. This way, you'll have a backup and you'll prevent the probability to lose an e-mail if the forwarding is to an outside address, which is temporarily inaccessible. This feature can be enabled and disabled at any moment, but if you use e-mail for essential matters, it is far better to use it, because no records of the emails will be kept on the server in case the option is not active. Any time you decide that you do not need forwarding anymore, it takes simply a mouse click to disable it.

E-mail Forwarding in Semi-dedicated Hosting
Forwarding an e-mail address hosted in our system can be very uncomplicated in case you have a
semi-dedicated server package with us and it will not take you more than a couple of clicks to set up. This can be done from the Emails part of the Hepsia Hosting Control Panel and you'll be able to keep track of the mailboxes which are being forwarded and where the e-mails are going to with a glance. The feature can be enabled and disabled for each of the email addresses inside your account. You could also enable or disable a helpful feature that we provide - a copy of the emails being relayed through our system can stay on the server. This way, you will always have a copy of your incoming emails and you'll not need to concern yourself with losing any info. If you keep this option deactivated, you run the risk of losing email messages if there is a problem with the remote mailbox.
